In July 2019, GICSA, one of Mexico's premier commercial real estate development groups, sought to create a unique and unforgettable experience within its shopping malls that would be both a cornerstone of its properties and a "can't miss" destination for all who visit; Intrépoli was its answer.

Intrépoli is an exciting family entertainment center that started at the Culiacán Forum in Culiacán, Mexico. Intrépoli has been a hub of activity, offering various attractions such as go-karts, darts, mini-golf, laser tag, axe throwing, and much more, but something was still missing. GICSA wanted to introduce something unique to further distinguish their venues from the competition. After researching options worldwide, GICSA discovered that HitTrax was the perfect solution to further elevate its offerings and provide a cutting-edge, interactive experience.

HitTrax and GICSA's vision aligned for a dynamic and engaging activity that appealed to visitors of all ages. In August 2020, six HitTrax Suites were installed, marking a significant milestone for both HitTrax and Intrépoli. The seamless integration of these virtual batting cages into the entertainment center's lineup drew immediate attention from customers, and Intrépoli was well on its way to becoming a regional success.

Three years later, after the popularity of the Culiacán location, GICSA expanded Intrépoli to a brand-new site, Grand Outlet Riviera Maya. Situated just 8 minutes south of Cancun International Airport and the beaches of Cancun, GO Riviera Maya is the largest outlet mall in Latin America, attracting more than 33 million visitors annually, making it a must-see destination for locals and tourists alike.

GO Riviera Maya features the most prominent Intrépoli location in the GICSA portfolio, including four more HitTrax Suites. Whether tourists were looking for a casual activity or something more competitive, the HitTrax Suite offered an immersive, action-packed experience.
